Relying on the Bank’s leading position in terms of green finance scale, product line, governance system, data management, risk control, carbon reduction in operations, international cooperation, and innovation results, the brand actively advocates the concept of “harmony, integration, and friendliness”, provides professional, comprehensive, and forward-looking financial support for green development, and achieves the goal of “More Green Contributions for More Beautiful Home”.

In recent years, ICBC has attached great importance to green finance, always incorporated the long-term green finance mechanism into all aspects of its operation and development, taken the development of green finance as an important measure to serve the real economy and attain its own transformation and development, and integrated the concept of green finance into the whole process of financial services. The Bank has built a multi-level green finance service system, with products covering green credit, green bonds, green funds, green leasing, green wealth management, green asset securitization, and other business fields. Besides, it has established a complete environmental, social, and governance (ESG) risk management system to achieve “active risk prevention, smart risk control, and comprehensive risk management”; vigorously carried out international exchange and cooperation in green finance; and steadily advanced the low-carbon transaction in its own operation through the continued energy conservation and carbon reduction efforts.
