Recently, the China Newsweek released the selection results of 2024 responsibility cases. ICBC was awarded the “2024 Responsibility Brand Case” for the case of Creating Sustainable Development Value to Meet People’s Financial Expectations for a Better Life it submitted. This is also the fifteenth consecutive year that the Bank won social responsibility awards from China Newsweek.
This year, ICBC has been thoroughly acting on the guidelines of the Central Financial Work Conference, and adhering to the general working principle of pursuing progress while ensuring stability. It is committed to “playing a pivotal role in serving the real economy and a ballast stone role in maintaining financial stability, acting as the bellwether in building strong institutions and specializing in major responsibilities and core businesses”. ICBC has sped up the “five transformations” of intelligent risk control, modern layout, digital driver, diversified structure and ecological foundation, taken solid steps to promote the “Five Priorities” of technology finance, green finance, inclusive finance, pension finance and digital finance, and strengthened consumer protection and human capital construction.
