Mr. Zhang has served as External Supervisor of the Bank since November 2021. He is currently a professor and doctoral supervisor of the Renmin University of China, a distinguished professor of the Ministry of Education’s “Changjiang Scholars Program”, a famous teacher of the national “Ten Thousand Talents Program”, a national candidate of the “New Century Talents Project”, and an executive director of the China Society for Finance and Banking. Mr. Zhang is a recipient of the special government allowance provided by the State Council. He was the Dean of the School of Finance of Shaanxi Institute of Finance and Economics, the Associate Dean of the School of Economics and Finance of Xi’an Jiaotong University, and the Associate Dean of the School of Finance of Renmin University of China. Mr. Zhang obtained a Doctorate degree in Economics from Shaanxi University of Finance and Economics.
