ICBC Named "Most Respected Bank in China" for Third Consecutive Year
 

For the third consecutive year ICBC has been named "Most Respected Bank in China" by Money Week at the "2012 (Fifth) Annual Most Respected Bank in China" held recently, in recognition of the Bank's outstanding social responsibility practice and good corporate image.

Money Week, a respected financial publication in China, ran the poll to analyze the annual data of the banks in China from an objective perspective in the best interest of personal banking users. The competition drives the healthy growth of banks in China as they are voted for by the public which banks are the "most respected". The winners were refereed by a judging panel with dozens of members who are prominent financial experts, academics and editorial committee in a stringent 4-month evaluation process, including nominations by the experts, visits to the banks, questionnaire from high-net-worth readers (families with income of over a million yuan) and votes by the netizens. A number of factors were considered in objectively assessing the "Most Respected Bank" by the banking users in China. That included the bank's corporate reputation, management capability, growth strategy, service quality, financial operation and service innovation. Based on the prudent analysis and assessment on the data and market performance of the banks in China, ICBC finally won the recognition from the judging panel and the public to win the award.
