Earlier, China Institute of Internal Audit hosted theoretical study seminar on internal audit quality management. With an aim to improve the overall standard of internal audit, the seminar reviewed the quality management of internal audit units in recent years, what were their issues and their experience. ICBC Internal Audit Bureau won Leading Internal Audit Enterprise Award, and many study reports have been honored.

At the seminar, ICBC Internal Audit Bureau presented internal audit practices over the years. Internal audit bureaus from other institutions highly recognized the study reports nominated by ICBC Internal Audit Bureau. The organizer also presented "Leading Internal Audit Enterprise Award" to ICBC.

ICBC Internal Audit Bureau has made remarkable progress on internal audit quality over the past few years. Improvements included new framework, new audit methods, skill and knowledge of audit staff. These efforts provide strong audit support for all ICBC branches.
