The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 112 yen zone early Monday morning in Tokyo.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 112.65-67 yen compared with 113.15-25 yen in New York and 113.13-15 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Friday.

The euro fetched 1.0609-0610 dollars and 119.51-53 yen against 1.0570-0580 dollars and 119.86-96 yen in New York and 1.0585-0587 dollars and 119.75-79 yen in Tokyo late Friday afternoon.
