The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower-103 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Wednesday, fractionally lower than levels seen overnight in New York.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 103.33-34 yen compared with 103.45-55 yen in New York and 103.92-94 yen at 5 p.m. on Tuesday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1058-1059 and 114.26-27 yen against 1.1048-1058 dollars and 114.33-43 yen in New York and 1.1112-1113 dollars and 115.48-52 yen in late Tuesday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
