The U.S. dollar changed hands above the 114 yen line early Wednesday in Tokyo.

At 9 a.m.,the dollar was quoted at 114.08-09 yen compared with 113.96-114.06 yen in New York and 113.83-84 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

The euro fetched 1.0717-0717 dollars and 122.24-26 yen against 1.0711-0721 dollars and 122.13-23 yen in New York and 1.0762-0763 dollars and 122.51-55 yen in Tokyo late Tuesday afternoon.
