Mr. Liu has served as Vice Chairman and Executive Director of the Bank since June 2024, President of the Bank since May 2024, and Chief Compliance Officer since March 2026.　He previously served as Vice Chairman, Executive Director and President of the Bank of Communications Co., Ltd. He served as Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer of China Investment Corporation. He served as Deputy General Manager of China Everbright Group Ltd., Executive Director and Deputy General Manager of China Everbright Group Limited and Senior Executive Vice President of China Everbright Bank. Mr. Liu has a Doctoral degree in Business Administration. He is a senior economist.
