Awards to ICBC in 2009

In 2009, ICBC won the highest honor - Platinum Award for the bank category in Reader's Digest (American magazine) survey for the Trusted Brands in Mainland China , and ICBC also won the Gold Award for the category of credit card issuing bank at the same time. In the Internet Bank Rankings of all countries and regions in 2009 by the American magazine Global Finance , ICBC won "Best Consumer Internet Bank of China ", "Best Integrated Consumer Bank Site of Asia" and "Best Integrated Corporate Bank Site of Asia". In the 2009 “Top 500 Most Valuable Chinese Brand List" released by the World Brand Lab, ICBC ranked the first with the brand value of RMB 125.086 billion. Moreover, among the awards from the authoritative Asian magazine of capital market – Finance Asia, ICBC won "2009 Best Corporate Governance", "Best Investor Relations", "Best Corporate Social Responsibility", "Most Committed to a Strong Dividend Policy", "Best Bank in China" and "Best Cash Management Bank of China".

At the 17th Annual China International Financial Services Exhibition and China International Exhibition on Financial Banking Technology & Equipment (CIFTEE), ICBC emerged as the top player in the "Large Financial Technology and Services Poll" held during the exhibition by snapping two awards of China International Financial Exhibition (2009). ICBC Personal Internet Banking "Banking@Home" and 95588 Telephone Banking are respectively the winners of "Excellence in Financial Product Award" and "Excellence in Financial Brand Award". At the "2009 China Corporate Social Responsibility Seminar and Award Ceremony of China CSR List" co-presented by China Enterprise News and respected organizations from home and abroad, ICBC being the top one among the peers anchors its place in "2009 China Corporate Social Responsibility List". ICBC won the "CCTV 60 Brands in 60 years" Award in the CCTV Poll "60th Anniversary of the Founding of New China –Drive China' s Economy –60 Brands influencing on People's Life ". In the "Appraisal Report on the Competitiveness of Commercial Banks in China 2009" publicized by The Chinese Bankers, ICBC ranked "No.1 in Core Competitiveness Ranking of Chinese Commercial Banks in 2009" for the second year in a row. ICBC was also named as "Best Risk Management Bank" and "Best IT Bank" for the year 2008. At the "Second Annual China SME Financing Forum & Annual Meeting of The Strategic Financial Services Alliance For Small And Medium Enterprises In China" jointly organized by Financial Times and China Association of Small & Medium Enterprises, ICBC snapped the award "Top 10 SME Financial Services Organizations in China". In the "2009 Rankings of Chinese Local Bank Website Competitiveness", organized by Govmade Financial Information Research Center and E-Service Research Center of Zhejiang University, ICBC won the highest honor of 2009 Chinese Local Bank Website –"Golden Net Award".
