ICBC's Car Installment Marketing Named One of Chinese Banker's "Top 10 Financial Product Marketing"
 

ICBC's Car Installment Marketing has been named one of the "Top 10 Financial Product Marketing" at the recent "2012 China Financial Innovation Awards" Ceremony hosted by the Chinese Banker magazine in collaboration with the Financial Product Center, Institute of Finance and Banking, Chinese Academy of Social Science.

Now in its fourth year, the "China Financial Innovation Awards" is one of key branding activities sponsored by the Chinese Banker magazine, followed by the "China Financial Marketing Awards". The awards program has been respected due to its fair, open and unbiased manner. 2012 China Financial Innovation Awards are presented to banks that exhibit excellent innovation and marketing. More than 10 nationwide banks and over a hundred regional banks nominated 600+ proposals to the organizing committee, covering financial products, branding, marketing and financial services. The activity is now certainly the biggest national stage in financial marketing.

During the second half of 2010, ICBC launched a service for car buyers to pay on installment by credit card. Given the deep knowledge on the market and accurate market positioning to identify target customers, in just two years ICBC attracted 31 large famous car manufacturers in China to join the program. This showed a new approach to develop credit card business while helping a great number of car buyers to fulfill their dreams to own a car.

In the next step, ICBC will stick to the principle of "a full range of brands, widest coverage, best fees and services" to loom large the service for car buyers to pay on installment by credit card.
