Earlier, the 2011-2012 "The Best Reputed Companies of China" award ceremony was held at the Peking University Hall. ICBC has been named "The Best Reputed Companies of China" in recognition of its steady progress, excellent social responsibility fulfillment and good corporate image.

Now in its ninth year, the award program, hosted by Economic Observer and Management Case Center of Peking University, encourages good corporate value views and methods for the common prosperity of companies and society. This year's survey lasted for four months. Companies were nominated by the management executives, academicians, financial and economic media, management consultancy companies and EMBA. Thirty finalists were chosen from the nominated companies who were ranked by a panel of judges and on-site voting by the specialists. After the stringent screening process, ICBC finally won the recognition from the judging panel and public to win the award.
